Pamela Taylor

Pamela Taylor, Founder

Mobility Project Manager at Bedrock Detroit | Boston College

Pamela's experience as an Advertising Manager and Opinions Columnist at Boston College's Independent Student Newspaper, The Heights, has informed the development of BTM. She has successfully acquired hundreds of new users at Uber and two early stage startups, Playful Data and FileChat. She worked with entrepreneurs while interning at NY-based Venture Capital firm, Collaborative Fund, and Boston-based accelerator, MassChallenge, and has since wanted to start a company of her own.

Emily Tseng, Software Developer

Teaching Fellow at Fullstack Academy of Code | Princeton University

Emily is a design-centered developer and lifelong news junkie eager to bring together her passions for tech and journalism at BTM. Stints as a writer, producer and editor in radio, print and multimedia journalism showed her how Web platforms have irrevocably changed how we consume news. While serving as Managing Editor of her college newspaper, The Daily Princetonian, she successfully transitioned the paper to its first-ever digital-first publishing system and caught the software engineering bug. Since then, she has prototyped new products at an early-stage health tech startup, consulted for Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies and taught web development at coding bootcamp Fullstack Academy. Emily likes JavaScript and React, functional programming and predictive modeling, building design-driven engineering teams and creating impactful products.

This is Ellie's second startup, and she frequently consults for pre-series A companies looking to build their go to market strategy and define their market and messaging. Her experiences in both domestic and foreign policy along with work at numerous startups have helped her gain a unique understanding of how the entrepreneurial landscape intersects with policy.
